Margaret arrived February 1940, and Dad enlisted in August of the same year. It was 5 years before Dad came home for good, and for Marg it was probably like meeting her Dad for the first time! Hard to imagine what that must be like, but photos and letters show that she was very much in our Dad's thoughts while he was away!
