My guess on the year in this photo is late 50’s. In the pic is Dad, then Peter (redhead), Alan (snowball), and I have just noticed the dog, possibly Toby, but maybe Tippy? I rely on my brothers to fill in some information.
It’s definitely winter, as the vines are pruned and rolled on.
Also unsure as to what is happening here – preparing to spread fertiliser, perhaps?
